CARMEN ZAMORANO-LLENA

La Dra. Carmen Zamorano-Llena es Profesora Asociada de Inglés en la Universidad de Dalarna, Suecia, desde 2008 y anteriormente fue profesora de inglés en la Universidad de Lleida, España (1999-2008). Tiene una licenciatura en Inglés de la Universidad de Lleida, España. Master en Traducción de la Universidad de Westminster, Reino Unido, y un doctorado en Inglés de la Universidad de Barcelona, España. Este se centró en un análisis de las construcciones feministas posmodernas de identidad en la poesía de Fleur Adcock, Eavan Boland, Gillian Clarke y Carol Rumens. Ha publicado sobre poesía y ficción contemporánea irlandesa y británica, y es coeditora de The Aesthetics of Ageing: Critical Approaches to Literary Representations of the Ageing Process (Publicacions de Lleida, 2002), Urban and Rural Landscapes: Language, Literature and Culture in Modern Ireland (Peter Lang, 2011), and Transcultural Identities in Contemporary Literature (Rodopi, 2013).  También es editora general de la revista internacional peer-reviewed Nordic Irish Studies. En junio de 2006, la Agencia Catalana de Investigación (AGAUR) le otorgó una beca postdoctoral Betriu de Pinós de dos años para su proyecto de identidad posnacionalista en la poesía irlandesa contemporánea. Los resultados de este proyecto se publicaron en varias revistas académicas peer-reviewed y también coeditó la colección de ensayos Representations of Irish Identity: A Postnationalist Approach (Peter Lang, 2010). Su proyecto "Globalización, migración y narrativas comunitarias de pertenencia: cambio de narrativas nacionales en la ficción irlandesa y británica contemporánea" recibió una beca de investigación de tres años (2011-2013) del Consejo Sueco de Investigación (Vetenskapsrådet). Es presidenta de Nordic Irish Studies Network (NISN), y miembro del grupo de investigación consolidado Grup Dedal-Lit (Lleida, España),  y Research Centre for Ageing and Later Life (ReCALL), and European Network in Aging Studies (ENAS).
